Quartet awarded media treat

Posted on: Sun 20 Dec 2009

Four students from Accrington Academy were granted a special visit to Rovers' Senior Training Centre after coming top of the class at the Community Trust.

Asma Malik, Henna Jahangir, Vladimirs Horjkovs and Freddie Shaw were invited to attend the Liverpool pre-match press conference after being awarded 'Outstanding Business Person of the Week' at the Education Department's recent World of Work Week.

The quartet, who bumped into Croatian striker Nikola Kalinic on their arrival at Brockhall, had front row seats as assistant manager Neil McDonald faced the local and national media.
