Tricky tie for Rovers

Rovers will face fellow Barclays Premier League side Aston Villa in the third round of the FA Cup.

Sam Allardyce's side make the tricky trip to the Midlands and to Villa Park for the cup clash.

The two sides last met in the coveted cup competition back in 2003 when Rovers were victors at Villa Park courtesy of a 4-1 win. That day braces from Dwight Yorke and Matt Jansen sent Rovers through to the fourth round that day.

Rovers have already defeated Martin O'Neil's side this season, a last minute David Dunn penalty giving the home side a 2-1 victory.
