Rovers winger Keith Treacy has joined Sheffield United on loan until the turn of the year.

The Irish Under-21 international has been allowed to join up with Kevin Blackwell's Championship club to gain vital match experience for the first half of the season.

The 20-year-old made nine starts in his 20 league and cup appearances for Rovers last season.
