Coach leaves Ewood

Karl Robinson has left his position as first team coach with Rovers to be re-united with ex-Ewood boss Paul Ince.

Karl, who joined the club from MK Dons a year ago, has taken up an opportunity to become assistant manager with the League One club.

Rovers manager Sam Allardyce said: "Karl has made his decision and we wish him all the best for the future. I will now set about the task of finding a replacement and hope to make an appointment at the earliest opportunity."
