ROVERS are looking for supporters to launch an 'invasion' of the WEC Darwen End - following a fantastic response to the club's season ticket offer in other home areas of Ewood Park over the past few weeks.

Officials have expressed delight at the way fans have backed the club's 'Taking Back Ewood' campaign. Indeed, the Blackburn End and Riverside stands are well on their way to selling out.

With Rovers offering the best-value season tickets in the Barclays Premier League for more than a decade, supporters have been quick to take advantage.

Now, with six weeks to go before the big kick-off on August 15, the drive is on to fill the WEC Darwen End where fans can still purchase a 15-game season ticket at the specially reduced price of just £150.

The offer follows on from last season's hugely successful Crucial 3 ticket deal, which saw Rovers fans positioned behind both goals for the final three home games against Wigan, Portsmouth and West Bromwich Albion.

Manager Sam Allardyce and his players were quick to hail the experiment a major success, saying the presence of home fans behind both goals had a significant impact on the atmosphere at Ewood.

Now club officials are keen to maintain that momentum by ensuring the WEC Darwen End is packed with home fans on a regular basis next term.

Simon Williams, head of Commercial and Marketing at Rovers, said: "The response to the Crucial 3 offer was absolutely fantastic and our goal now is to build on that.

"We want to see Ewood Park, and particularly the Darwen End, packed to the rafters with our own fans. We believe this is an unmissable opportunity for our supporters to experience a season of thrills and spills in the best league in the world for the equivalent of just £10 per game.

"So round up your friends and family and let's 'Take Back Ewood' permanently!"

The 15-game Darwen End season ticket does not include the home games against Liverpool, Manchester United and Burnley, plus a fourth fixture still to be decided.

However, Darwen End season ticket holders will be given purchase priority for all four of those games in an exclusive week prior to the tickets going on sale generally.

The tickets will be available in the Jack Walker Stand at the specially discounted rate of £25 for adults (£10 juniors, £15 for Seniors & Club 16-21) - a significant saving compared to the normal matchday prices of £33- £38 - and cheaper than anywhere else in the stadium!
