Rovers have today completed the signing of Steven Nzonzi from French club Amiens SC.

The 20-year-old midfielder joins for an undisclosed fee and has signed a four-year deal.

Born in La Garenne-Colombes, Paris, Nzonzi joined Amiens SC in northern France as a trainee before turning professional in 2008, making his senior debut in April of that year.

Last season he made 35 appearances for the then League Two side, scoring one goal. He has also represented France at youth level.
