South Africa out to shock

Posted on: Thu 25 Jun 2009

Can there be two shocks in the FIFA Confederations Cup on consecutive nights?

After the USA surprisingly knocked out Spain on Wednesday evening by beating them 2-0, it is now South Africa's turn to see if they can pull off a similar sized shock when they take on Brazil in Johannesburg this evening.

Rovers fans have watched the competition with interest in the hope that they'll catch a glimpse of Sam Allardyce's sole summer signing thus far Elrio van Heerden, but as yet the former Club Brugge winger hasn't featured for Joel Santana's side.
