ANDRE Ooijer has confirmed he will be leaving the club at the end of the season.
The Holland international, who joined Rovers three years ago in a deal worth £2million, will return to his former club PSV Eindhoven when his contract expires this summer.
The 34-year-old, who has made a total of 95 appearances for the club in all competitions, said it was a 'difficult decision', but the chance to 'go home' proved too good to turn down.
Andre, who is set to make his farewell appearance against West Brom at the weekend, said: "Sunday is going to be my last match and then I'll go home to PSV.
"The club has known about it for a while, but I wanted to keep it quiet myself because we were in a relegation battle.
"But now we are safe, it is fine and I'm going to play on Sunday in my last game.
"It has been a very difficult decision, I've had a great time at this club for three years, so of course it was a difficult decision.
"But the moment PSV came in, that's where my heart is. I've had a brilliant time here but now it is time to go home."
Andre has played a key role in the club's fight for survival this season, most notably when he scored a dramatic late winner in the home game against Tottenham last month.
