Tenner ticket is family friendly!

Posted on: Wed 29 Apr 2009

ROVERS have launched a new ticket offer in a bid to encourage Season Ticket Holders to 'bring a friend' to next month's crucial Barclays Premier League home fixture against Portsmouth.

As a follow-up to the club's hugely popular 'Taking Back Ewood' campaign, Season Ticket Holders will be able to purchase Pompey tickets for friends and family in ALL areas of the ground at the reduced cost of £10 (for adults) and £5 (concessions).

This offer represents a significant saving on normal matchday prices, and club officials are hoping it will prove as popular as the 'Crucial 3' package, which was launched earlier this month and sold out.

Simon Williams, head of commercial and marketing at the club, said: "We were very pleased with the way the fans responded to our 'Taking Back Ewood' campaign with the seats all selling out, and we hope this latest initiative will prove equally popular with our supporters.

"We believe in the 12th man factor and the support of our fans has never been more important to the club than it is now.

"The aim is to make Ewood a cauldron of noise for these final home games, and if we can repeat the result and atmosphere as we experienced against Wigan then we'll all be delighted."

Tickets for the Portsmouth game (Saturday May 9, kick off 3pm) are now on open sale and can be purchased online at www.onerovers.co.uk or by visiting the Ticket Office in person or calling 0871 222 1444.

Any Season Ticket Holders wishing to move seats so they can sit with their guests for the game simply need to inform staff in the Ticket Office.
