MIDFIELD enforcer Aaron Mokoena is backing Rovers to get their survival fight back on track at the expense of Stoke City this weekend.
After losing 4-0 to Liverpool at Anfield last Saturday, Aaron and his team-mates are determined to return to winning ways at the Britannia Stadium, where they will be roared on by a 3,000-strong travelling army of Rovers fans.
The South Africa international said: "We knew it was going to be difficult against Liverpool but that is now in the past.
"We are now looking forward to playing Stoke because we know we can go there and get something.
"When they came here to Ewood earlier in the season we made it really difficult for them and I'm sure we can go there and do the same again.
"We know how important the game is and we want to get back a winning momentum.
"It is never easy in the Premier League as we know, but these are the games that we need to get something out of. We played them and we know their strengths, and we did fantastic against them at Ewood.
"It's all about us going out there and competing, especially with their strengths. We know we can play football so it's all about us playing to our strengths as well.
"Getting the three points, that is the most important aspect."
