Rovers plan to 'Take Back Ewood'
BLACKBURN Rovers are offering a special discount ticket package for the final three home games of the season in a bid to encourage as many fans as possible to get behind the club's fight for survival.
With the battle to stay in the Premier League set to go down to the wire, Rovers officials believe the key to survival ultimately hinges on the team's form at Ewood Park and they are urging all supporters to pull together and roar the team to safety.
As a result, the club has launched 'Taking Back Ewood' - a major campaign aimed at maximising home advantage by filling both ends of the ground for the games against Wigan Athletic, Portsmouth and West Bromwich Albion.
For just £20 (£10 concessions), supporters will be able to take advantage of a fantastic three-game package, which entitles them to a seat in the WEC Darwen End lower tier for ALL of the remaining home games.
Rovers' chairman John Williams said: "We want to actively encourage as many people as possible to come down to Ewood and get behind our fight to stay in the Premier League.
"We believe in the 12th man factor and our three remaining home games are going to be crucial. We want to make maximum use of home advantage."
The club is looking for a strong Rovers presence behind the goals at both ends of the ground, and hope to fill the WEC Darwen End with home fans whilst utilising the upper tier for visitors.
Rovers believe the impact of having their own supporters at both ends will be huge for the team and could make all the difference.
In a further move designed to encourage groups of friends and 'singers' to sit together, the Darwen End Lower Tier will be 'unreserved seating'.
For those who might prefer to sit elsewhere in the ground, tickets for all other areas for the Wigan fixture (April 26) will be priced at £15 (adults) and £5 (concessions).
Tickets are available at the Ewood Park Ticket Office either in person, through the hotline (0871 222 1444) or by visiting www.onerovers.co.uk
