Boss Sam Allardyce was full of praise for the Rovers fans who made the journey to Craven Cottage last night.

Despite the midweek match in London, the fans came in large numbers and gave the team huge backing throughout, getting their reward with a dramatic second half turnaround, much to the delight of Allardyce.

"They were absolutely tremendous," said the Rovers boss.

"Playing into their end in the second half spurred us on and we gave them a lot to cheer in that second half and I think they've made a worthwhile journey.

"We are really pleased for them, do it at their end, to see the goals go in at their end is obviously very very pleasing.

"Supporters spend a lot of money travelling to get down here and they'll obviously go home as happy as we do."
