Sam Allardyce was a delighted and a proud manager after Rovers came from a goal behind to grab a huge victory with the 2-1 win over Fulham.
The signs weren't good when Clint Dempsey fired the home side in front after just two minutes, but Rovers roared back and in the end were full value for the victory.
"We didn't think the game was going to go our way," said a delighted Sam after the game. "We hit the post and Mark Schwarzer kept pulling off some miraculous saves.
"But then Dioufy got one and really we dominated the whole of the second half from there on after the first five minutes.
"We changed the shape of the team, went to two up top and obviously in the end got a well deserved winner.
"Jason Roberts, spun the defender and put it in the back of the net for a well deserved three points."
After the disappointment of conceding so early on in the game, the Rovers boss was proud of the way his side battled back to grab all three points.
"To come back from a goal down is always very difficult in the Premier League, but to come back and win from a goal down, in the position we are in, away from home in the Premier League is the first time we've achieved it this season.
"It shows how big a result this is today and a well deserved one by the players, particularly with that second half performance.
"Once we got over the first five minutes of the second half we completely dominated and deserved the two goals we got and deserved the victory we got in the end."
