Eddie Nolan has completed a permanent move to Preston North End.

The Republic of Ireland under 21 defender had initially been on loan with the Championship club, but that was turned into a permanent deal with the opening of the transfer window.

Nolan, who made just one senior appearance for Rovers, has signed a three and a half year deal for an undisclosed fee.
