PAUL Gallagher was amongst the goals again at the weekend as Plymouth Argyle defeated Cardiff City 2-1 at Home Park.

The on loan striker made it six goals for the season as Paul Sturrock's side got back to winning ways.

When Preston played Barnsley it potentially could have seen two on loan Rovers players go head-to-head, but alas, neither Eddie Nolan nor Maceo Rigters featured as Preston won 2-1.

Fresh from his England under 21 exploits, Frank Fielding was on the winning side as Northampton Town defeated Hereford United 2-0 at Edgar Street. Fielding making a number of fine saves to keep a clean sheet.

Into League Two and Rostyn Griffiths played the full match as Accrington drew 1-1 at Chesterfield. Jamie Clarke was an unused substitute. As was Gunnar Nielsen as Motherwell were defeated 4-1 at home to Hibernian.

hello Conor Kavanagh played the full ninety as Clitheroe stopped their losing run with a draw against Salford City.
