AS predicted earlier today, Keith Andrews is one of five players from the Republic of Ireland 'B' side that defeated Nottingham Forest in Dublin last night to be drafted in to the senior squad.

Ireland boss Giovanni Trapattoni was impressed with a number of players on show at Dalymount Park on Thursday evening as Ireland defeated Forest 2-0 and has added to the squad to face Cyprus at Croke Park next Wednesday in a World Cup qualifier.

If Andrews makes an appearance, he'll earn his first cap at senior level.
