PRESTON North End have today signed Eddie Nolan on an three-month emergency loan deal.

The Republic of Ireland under 21 international links up with the Championship club until January having previously enjoyed loan spells with Stockport County and Hartlepool United.

A regular for the Reserves, Eddie has made just the one senior appearance, coming on as an early substitute in the UEFA Cup match against Nancy in December 2006.
