Gally amongst the goals again
PAUL Gallagher once again played a major role in helping Plymouth Argyle to a 4-0 home win over Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday
The Rovers forward, who his on loan with the West Country club for the season, scored his fourth goal in six games as Paul Sturrock's side ran out comfortable winners at Home Park.
The 24-year-old scored one and had a hand in another as Plymouth made it four wins and a draw from their last five games.
Elsewhere on loan duty, Maceo Rigters return to the Barnsley starting eleven after recovering from a hamstring injury, the former Dutch under 21 international played 72 minutes as Barnsley defeated Doncaster Rovers 4-1 at Oakwell.
Alexandra Park saw goalkeeper Frank Fielding on the winning side as Northampton Town defeated Crewe Alexandra 3-1, but in League Two Accrington Stanley lost 2-1 away at Barnet. Rostyn Griffiths played 84 minutes, whilst Jamie Clarke played the last 15 as a second half sub.
Up in Scotland Gunnar Nielsen was an unused sub as Motherwell edged a five-goal thriller, defeating Falkirk 3-2.
