Club before country
AUSSIE ace Vince Grella will make a decision on whether to join up with his international team-mates after Rovers' top-flight fixture this weekend.
Vince was a surprise inclusion in Pim Verbeek's 35-man squad for the Socceroos crucial World Cup qualifier against Qatar, having been out of action for the past month with a calf injury.
And Rovers' summer signing believes he has an obligation to get fully fit for his club, before contemplating any call-ups from his country.
"I've talked to both managers, and we are probably going to decide after the game against Manchester United," Vinnie said.
"Common sense would say that it is best for me to stay at Blackburn and I think it is my duty to be fit and play here first.
"Obviously I love playing for my country, but it always comes just a little bit after the club. Even though all the players that play for the national team love it, you've really got to do the job first for your club."

One of the more experienced figures in the Australia set-up, Vince added that a visit to the other side of the world was never ideal, but a length that many of his senior colleagues are prepared to go to in order to establish their country on the world stage.
"I think even if you are fully fit, sitting on a plane for 24 hours is not easy. But these are the sacrifices that we have to do to play for our national team," he said.
"We are not a famous country, so if you take away the better players we will never ever get on the international map. So I think it is our duty, as the more important players in the Australian team, to make these sacrifices to build up the reputation of our national team.
"They are never easy trips, we just get on and do it."
