FOOTBALL legend John Barnes visited Rovers' training ground recently to collect signed shirts from Britain's top players.

The former Liverpool favourite came to Brockhall as part of a five-day 'Van Dash' across the country in aid of charitable campaign Score Ethiopia - a partnership between Wash & Go shampoo and educational charity Link Ethiopia.

The signed kit, which was presented to him by Jason Roberts and Robbie Fowler, will be auctioned off to raise funds for water amenities, schools and football facilities in the Gondar region of Ethiopia.
