BRETT Emerton is looking forward to a successful season and believes Rovers can soon banish the disappointment of back-to-back Premier League defeats.

Ahead of tomorrow's clash with Fulham at Ewood Park, the Aussie star said: "Results have been mixed so far, but it is still early days.

"We are still confident we can go on and have a really good season. We've got a good squad here to hopefully achieve great things this year.

"Right now a couple of wins and you are in the top six, so you really can only judge things after 10 or 15 games. Let's just see where we are sitting in the table then.

"If we do want to have a successful season we need to be beating teams like Fulham, so we'll be looking to do that on Saturday, it is very important. That said, Fulham are playing very well and it won't be easy.

"Obviously there was disappointment after the defeat against Arsenal. After a result like that the next game can't come quickly enough, so everyone is really looking forward to getting back out on the pitch on Saturday and putting things right."

Team Rovers members can see Saturday's game against Fulham at Ewood Park for just £1. Adult prices are from £17, Seniors and Club 16-21 members from £12. Tickets will be on sale right up until the 3.00pm kick-off.
