ROVERS will be strongly represented when a host of nations kick-off their World Cup qualifying campaigns later today.

In Germany, Zurab Khizanishvili and Steven Reid are set to go head-to-head when Georgia and the Republic of Ireland meet in Mainz.

Winger Morten Gamst Pedersen (pictured) is expected to feature for Norway when they take on Iceland in Oslo.

And Goalkeeper Paul Robinson is also in Fabio Capello's England squad for tonight's clash with Andorra in Barcelona.

However, striker Roque Santa Cruz is unlikely to play any part in Paraguay's crunch clash with Argentina in Buenos Aires due to an ankle injury.

Elsewhere, Benni McCarthy has been included in South Africa's squad for their critical African Nations Cup qualifier with Nigeria in Port Elizabeth, but Aaron Mokoena misses out through suspension.

Rovers duo Vince Grella and Brett Emerton could also come face-to-face with Andre Ooijer when Australia take on Holland in a friendly in Eindhoven.

Then tomorrow, Chris Samba's Congo take on Mali in a World Cup qualifier in Brazzaville.
