MANAGER Paul Ince has swooped to make his fifth summer signing with the arrival of midfielder Vince Grella.

The 28-year-old Australian international has signed a four-year-deal for an undisclosed fee.

After starting out for Australian sides Canberra and Carlton, Grella made the move overseas to Italy in 1998 where the tough-tackling midfielder made a name for himself. His first club in Europe was Empoli before he moved onto Parma then he secured a transfer to Torino in the summer of 2007.

Grella can claim a familiar face amongst the Rovers ranks as with 36 caps to his name, he has played alongside Brett Emerton in Australia's midfield.
