Reid injury concern
STEVEN Reid is an injury concern ahead of the Republic of Ireland's international friendly match against Norway on Wednesday.
The Rovers midfielder sat out of Monday evening's training session after picking up a knock in a similar session on Sunday.
"Steven took a knock to his knee yesterday in training, so we just thought it was better that he sit out the session this evening," said the Republic's medical officer Alan Byrne on Monday evening.
"We will review the situation tomorrow (Tuesday), but the expectation at this stage is that he will resume training."
The match in Oslo should see Rovers having a representative on both sides. As well as Reid for Ireland, Norway's squad includes winger Morten Gamst Pedersen.
