Matt's England aim
MATT Derbyshire will be hoping to pick up his 12th England under 21 cap this evening.
For Stuart Pearce's young lions side take on Slovenia in an international friendly match at Hull's KC Stadium.
Derbyshire, who was an unused substitute in Rovers' opening day 3-2 win over Everton at the weekend, has 11 caps to his name, scoring four goals, and he'll be looking to increase that tally tonight.
Also on international duty this evening are the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland under 21 teams.
In Vienna, the Republic of Ireland under 21s, lead by Rovers midfielder Keith Treacy, take on their Austrian counterparts with Rovers having three representatives hopefully on show.
Josh O'Keefe could be in line to make his international debut after his surprise call-up to the Ireland squad due to having Irish grandparents, whilst Alan Judge will be looking to take his impressive form for club onto the country stage.
Defender Johnny Flynn is away with the Northern Ireland under 21 side as they take part in a four team tournament in the Ukraine.
This Tuesday sees them take on Poland, whilst in the other match the Ukraine take on Belgium. The finals then take place on Wednesday 20th August.
