ROVERS officials were disappointed today to be found guilty of failing to control their players in the Premier League game against Newcastle United at St. James Park last season.

An Ewood contingent, including Chairman John Williams, attended the FA hearing in Manchester.

After hearing the evidence it was decided that Rovers were to be fined £10,000 plus costs, but £7.500 of that figure was held suspended until next year.
