PAUL Ince has already cast an eye over the 2008/09 Barclays Premier League fixtures and one match in particular already stands out for the new Rovers boss.

Speaking exclusively to Rovers World, when asked if there were any games he was looking forward to in his first season as a Premier League manager, Ince replied:"West Ham away, the third game in!

"But they all stand out, going to Everton is always hard, then we have Hull at home, but it is just exciting to look at the fixture list now.

"Before you were talking about going to Darlington and Rochdale - no disrespect to them - now suddenly you are looking at Manchester United and Chelsea, it is exciting times."

Ince doesn't, however, have happy memories of his last visit to Ewood Park as a player.

As a midfielder on the books at Wolverhampton Wanderers, Ince and his colleagues were on the end of a 5-1 opening day drubbing in August 2003.

"I can't remember that," joked Ince, "Was I playing? I'll settle for the same result when we play Hull on the first home game of the season."
