Posted on: Tue 20 May 2008

BLACKBURN Rovers are delighted to announce that Tugay has today signed a new 12-month contract with the club.

The 37-year-old has committed to his eighth season with Rovers, putting pen-to-paper on a new deal.

Signed in the summer of 2001 from Glasgow Rangers by former manager Graeme Souness, Tugay quickly established himself as a firm favourite with both team-mates and supporters alike.
