Fingers crossed for Frank

Posted on: Sat 17 May 2008

ROVERS goalkeeper Frank Fielding could be following in Peter Enckelman's footsteps by making an appearance at Wembley this season.

The 20 year-old goalkeeper has been on loan with Wycombe Wanderers for the large part of the 2007/08 campaign, and later this Saturday if Paul Lambert's side can overcome Stockport County, then a place in the League Two play-off final at Wembley will be their reward.

The first leg at Adams Park a week ago ended 1-1, so the tie is finely poised ahead of the clash at Edgeley Park.

The winners will face either Rochdale or Darlington at Wembley on Monday 26th May.
