BENNI McCarthy has committed his long-term future to Blackburn Rovers by signing a new deal with the club.

Last season's top goalscorer has signed a new three-year deal which sees him contracted to the Ewood Park club until the summer of 2011.

The former Porto frontman hasn't quite hit the heights this campaign but has still weighed in with a useful 11 goals.
