MARK Hughes credited Coventry, but couldn't hide his disappointment after Rovers' shock exit from the FA Cup.
Following the 4-1 defeat at Ewood Park, Hughes said: "I thought Coventry were excellent and fully deserved their win.
"They seemed to want it more than we did.
"Our second-half performance was very disappointing and in many aspects it was unacceptable.
"I'm not going to hide behind any excuses like injuries or team selection, for we had enough out there to have put on a much better show than that.
"I can understand the fans' frustrations, they have been used to some good times in cup competitions here - with a couple of FA Cup semi-finals in the last three seasons - but this was not one of them."
