MARK Hughes faces a striker crisis ahead of Saturday's FA Cup third round home tie with Coventry City.

Roque Santa Cruz (groin) and his half-time replacement Matt Derbyshire (hip) both limped out of Wednesday's win over Sunderland.

To add to the manager's headache, Jason Roberts is suffering with a foot injury picked up in training.

"It doesn't look good, but we will let things settle before making any decisions," said the Rovers boss after his side's 1-0 win at Ewood Park.

"To be fair, it was always my intention to rest Roque against Coventry anyway."
