MARK Hughes was thrilled with the performance of his squad after they came from behind to earn a point against Arsenal.
It looked bleak for Rovers when Robin van Persie netted his customary strike against the Ewood club after 18 minutes, but a fantastic fightback from the home side saw Dunn draw Rovers level twenty minutes from time.
They had to play the closing stages with ten men after Ryan Nelsen saw red for two bookings, but Arsene Wenger's side rarely troubled despite the man advantage.
"I thought we were absolutely brilliant today," said Hughes after the game. "I thought we totally dominated the opposition from start to finish."
"I thought we were hungry for the ball, we played the better football, really put some pressure on them and they weren't allowed to play their normal game.
"I just thought we were excellent and played the best football and created more chances, but in the end when you lose a man you have to be happy with a point."
Hughes was delighted that it was David Dunn who grabbed the goal to put Rovers back on level terms, the midfielder putting in a man-of-the-match performance against the Gunners.
"I told him it was an own goal but he wasn't too happy with that, but I think he's claiming it and rightly so," added Hughes.
"I thought David Dunn was absolutely immense today, we had a different game plan, they have good individual talent with the likes of Fabregas in midfield so we wanted to nullify their affect and I think we did that.
"I thought we were totally dominated in the middle of the park."
"My players are all prepared to work extremely hard for each other, and when you work at that level you get rewards and that is what we've got today.
"We've got a draw against one of the top sides in the country and we're disappointed and I think that says it all."
