A tall, experienced and commanding central defender, Natalie represented her hometown club Preston and then Premier League outfit Tranmere Rovers Ladies, being joining Blackburn in 2004.

A permanent fixture at the heart of Rovers' defence in recent seasons, she had trials for England's Under-16s and won the 5-a-side Puma Street Soccer World Championships with Lea Town Girls earlier in her career.
