Talented teen Karen can play out wide or in a more attacking position. She moved up to the first-team squad at the start of the 2007-08 campaign having come through the club's youth ranks.

She marked her first senior start with a four-goal haul in Rovers' 18-0 win over Preston in the Lancashire Cup and capped her full debut in the Premier League with her first top-flight goal against Doncaster Rovers Belles in January.
