Home start for Ladies

Posted on: Wed 07 Jul 2010

Blackburn Rovers Ladies will kick off the new-look Women's Premier League season at home to Watford.

Adam Lakeland's side welcome the Hornets to Radcliffe Borough on Sunday August 22nd.

Rovers' first away league trip takes them to newly-promoted Reading on Sunday September 5th.

With a number of the country's top teams opting to play in next year's Super League, this season's National Division has been reduced to just eight clubs.

Leeds, who finished fourth last season, visit Stainton Park on September 19th, before Rovers travel to Nottingham Forest a week later.

Lakeland's young charges host Southern Division champions Barnet on October 10th, ahead of back-to-back journeys to Sunderland and Millwall Lionesses - the team that Rovers will end their campaign against on Sunday January 9th.

The full fixture list can be found here.
