Ladies friendlies announced
ROVERS Ladies are putting the finishing touches to their pre-season campaign.
Adam Lakeland's side have scheduled a hat-trick of fixtures against quality opposition from across the country ahead of their second season of top-flight football.
Rovers will travel to Coventry City on Sunday July 22, before back-to-back home games against Premier League duo Doncaster Rovers Belles on Sunday July 29 and Newcastle United on Sunday August 5. Venues and kick-off times are yet to be confirmed.
Rovers did the double over Donny Belles in the National Division last season - winning 2-0 at home in February and 3-1 away at the new Keepmoat Stadium in April - whilst they also did the double over Newcastle during their Northern Division title-winning success of 2005-06, culminating in a 3-0 victory over the Magpies at Ewood Park on the final day of the season.
The week before the new season starts, Rovers travel to Sunderland for their final pre-season friendly on Sunday August 12th.
After a top-half finish in the National Division last term, Rovers will be hoping to improve on their league standing when the new season gets underway on Sunday August 19.
