Rovers Ladies trials
FANCY playing football for Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League?
Then come along to the elite trials for the record-breaking Rovers Ladies team.
Open trials for girls aged 16-and-over (as of August 31st) will be held from 10am-12pm at St Bede's High School, Livesey Branch Road, Blackburn this Sunday. Players must register 15 minutes before the sessions commence, whilst grass and astroturf footwear is also required.
Places for both the first team and the reserves are up for grabs, in what looks set to be one of the most exciting seasons in the club's history.
After gaining promotion to the Women's National Division in 2006, Adam Lakeland's side ended their first ever season of top-flight football, which included an historic run to the semi-final stage of the FA Cup, with a top-half league finish.
Contact Gemma Donnelly on 01254 296256 or at GDonnelly@rover-mail.co.uk for directions to the school and to confirm your attendance.
