Premier League National Division

Doncaster Rovers Belles 1-3 Rovers
CAZ Dixon and skipper Mel Cook scored their first ever goals for the club as Rovers Ladies claimed fourth place outright in the National Division table.
Dixon opened the scoring with a crisp right-foot finish from inside the box on 13 minutes and captain Cook doubled Rovers' advantage shortly after when Jayne Eadie's deep free-kick had been headed into her path at the back post.
The Belles rallied and pulled a goal back when Carla Cantrell touched home Emily Heckler's cross from 12 yards, but Rovers restored an unassailable lead just minutes before the break when Katie Anderton netted her 36th goal of the campaign from the spot, after Andi Bell had been fouled in the box.
Coach Adam Lakeland said: "Firstly, I'm delighted with the result. The incentives of another three points were there for all to see. Playing before everyone else at the weekend, we knew that victory would take us into fourth place outright and would assure us of at least seventh place in the league come the end of the season - a truly fantastic achievement.
"I wanted us to start the game like we did against Charlton the week before and we did keep the ball well in patches. In the second half, I just wanted them to kill the tempo, hit on the counter and play the game out.
"It was a very professional performance, which shows that we're maturing as a team. It's not about how you win in this league, it's just about winning!
"I'm delighted for Caz to score her first goal. She was often overlooked in the past, but she's a player I've always admired. She has had setbacks through injury, but she has always stayed mentally strong and she could certainly be a big part of our long-term future."
ROVERS: Hawke, Bateman, Cook, Eadie, Eastwood, Bell, Cambell, Shepherd (Fleck 85), McCrea (Forster 74), Anderton, Dixon (Barnes 70).
