Christine Peacock recently stepped down from her position on the Blackburn Rovers Disabled Supporters Committee after many years of loyal and unstinting service.

Her appreciative friends and colleagues took her for a meal where she was presented with flowers and a commemorative plaque by newly appointed club chairman Duncan Gardiner.
