ROVERS' Centre of Excellence Under-12s are celebrating some end-of-season success after recently winning the Manchester Cup.

Rovers lifted the trophy (an achievement in itself looking at the size of it!) thanks to Jess Richmond's winner against Greater Manchester in the final.

Coach Justine Wallace said: "It's a fantastic achievement. The weather was against us, but all the girls put in 110%.

"It is a fitting climax to the season, as the team have performed consistently well throughout the new Centre of Excellence fixture programme."
