Rovers beat the competition to secure the services of this highly rated midfielder. Like Aaron Doran and Gavin Gunning, Gearoid was a member of the Republic of Ireland under 17 side that played in the UEFA Under 17 finals in Turkey in May 2008.

Will be looking to make an impression in his first season with Academy.
