A date for Rovers' FA Youth Cup quarter-final away to Newcastle United has now been confirmed.

Rovers Under-18s will travel to the Sports Direct Arena on Monday February 27th (kick-off 7pm).

Terry McPhillips' side are yet to concede a goal in this season's cup competition, having beaten Thurruck 8-0, Coventry 2-0 and Stoke City 4-0 in the previous rounds, all at Ewood Park.

As a result of Rovers' progress in the prestigious competition, the Reserve team fixture away to Newcastle, scheduled to take place the following day on Tuesday February 29th has been postponed.

The game will now take place on Thursday March 15th (kick-off 1pm), at the Newcastle United Training Ground.
