More support from 100 Club

Posted on: Sun 29 Aug 2010

Another generous donation from the '100 Club' has enabled Blackburn Rovers to purchase five new mountain bikes and a camcorder for the club's Academy.

The 100 Club, which was founded back in 1971, has helped Rovers in numerous ways over the years, especially in terms of youth development.

In recent times, money raised by members has bought a minibus, frost covers, a kickwall and new stores for groundstaff at Brockhall.

"We receive great support from the 100 Club and it is much appreciated," says Rovers Academy manager Phil Cannon. "The new bikes and camcorder will certainly be put to good use."
