Bowyer calls for "massive effort"

Posted on: Mon 22 Mar 2010

ROVERS' under 18s are back in FA Youth Cup action this Monday evening as they take on Chelsea in the semi-final second leg at Stamford Bridge.

Gary Bowyer's side trail by just a single goal following last week's first leg at Ewood, but with everything to play for, the under 18s coach expects his side to put up another impressive showing.

"It will be a massive effort required from the players, Chelsea are a very good team, they are well coached and the challenge is there for us," said Bowyer.

"It will be a good night and we'll learn loads about our lot.

"It is there for them, they've to keep believing that they can do it, we'll go there with the right frame of mind and have a right good go at it."

Full match commentary from tonight's game will be available on Rovers Player.
