Tom signs pro contract

Another of Rovers' rising stars has put pen-to-paper on their first professional contract.

Tom Hitchcock, who turned 17 last Thursday, has signed a deal that sees him contracted to the club until the summer  of 2012.

The young striker celebrated his new deal by scoring his first goal of the season in the under 18's 1-0 win over Stoke City on Saturday.
