Three days, three matches!

Blackburn Rovers' under 18s played three hour long games over three days in Shrewsbury this week.

Tuesday saw a young Rovers team lose 1-0 to Shrewsbury Town, but they recovered quickly the following day when Gary Bowyer's squad defeated Cantalao of Peru 7-0.

The goal-scorers in the match where Morris, Hitchcock and Banton who all bagged braces, Bowen with the 7th.

Thursday saw Rovers defeat Stoke City 6-0, Banton hit two, followed by goals from Richardson, Hall, O'Sullivan and Hands.

"The matches served as a good exercise for getting some pre-season games under our belts,"said Bowyer. "We scored some good goals as well."

The under 18s are back in action on Saturday when they take on Hearts at Brockhall, please note that the kick-off time for this match is now 1.30pm.
