Missed chances proved costly, as Rovers Under-18s were held to a 1-1 draw by Wolves at Brockhall.
Rovers started well, hitting the bar within the first minute, before Julio Santa Cruz opened the scoring midway through the first half, after good work by Marcus Marshall down the right flank.
However, the home side conceded just two minutes later, when Zeli Ismail tapped home at the far post.
After the break, Jake Simpson was denied when one-on-one with the Wolves keeper, whilst Jordan Bowen and Jason Lowe almost missed good chances, as both sides were forced to settle for a share of the spoils.
