ROVERS' under 18s have once again been given a difficult away draw in the FA Youth Cup.

For Gary Bowyer's young charges face a trip to the Valley to take on Charlton Athletic in the third round of the competition.

It is the third consecutive season that Rovers had been away in the opening round of the competition, losing out at the first stage away at Leicester City and Reading the previous two years. Charlton are currently 2nd from bottom in their Academy league.

No date for the match has been confirmed as yet, ties have to be played by Saturday December 13th.
