WINGER Aaron Doran has become the latest player to put pen-to-paper on a new deal with the club.
The 17-year-old has signed his first professional contract with a deal that will keep him at Rovers until the summer of 2010.
An Irish under 17 international, Doran has impressed all in his first full year with the Academy, ending the season the top scorer for Gary Bowyer's side with 9 goals from his 22 appearances.
That prompted Glyn Hodges to call Doran into the Reserve team squad where he didn't disappoint in his 3 appearances.
Doran, who can operate on the right wing or further forward, was recently part of the Republic of Ireland under 17 squad that took part in the UEFA Under 17 Championships in Turkey.
